CASE STUDY 1 – GC Intelligence

I was approached via recommendation to create an updated logo and some brand guidelines for GC Intelligence at the end of 2022.

The current logo and branding had been created when the company had first started, and no longer reflected its current status and values.

Initially we had a couple of phone calls to discuss where the company had begun, where it was now, logos and brands that the owner liked, competitors, ideal customers and values. All this information gave me a great idea of what they were looking for.

I came up with a few initial designs, and after a few refinements this is the final version that was decided upon. The circular part of the logo incorporates the G, C and I, and is easily recognisable and scalable. It is also able to be used as an icon if the whole logo isn’t required.

The brand guidelines included a summary on who GC Intelligence are, the logo and how to use it, colours and fonts and assets (in this case full and broken circles that emulate the logo), image styles, values, and how to apply all of this on some sample collateral.

The client was really pleased with how everything turned out, and has already started to apply the new branding across the current site.
